Control That Anger

Sometimes a lot of people get frustrated or mad in business over things they have no control over. You might even get stressed out about things too. Have to learn to channel that energy into something else to make that anger go away. I asked a lot of people on how they channel their anger or what they think you should do about it.

Here are their suggestions:

Listen to music! Turn up the bass really loud- words every time for me:) Or Walk outside, or run. Be in nature. Or punch a punching bag, or punch pillows, stuff like that;) Oh… jump on a rebounder (a mini trampoline)- it’s difficult to be anything but happy after jumping on that for a few minutes, and listening to your ipod at the same time! yeah! – Carolyn Collins

Workout- Amy Alexandra Schmitz

Channel your energy to something positive instead of doing something destructive. – Mona Lisa Lopez

i am rarely angry, but I would suggest something positive like a workout, then a full body massage, chai latte and smooth instrumental jazz music, candlelight. you should be completely relaxed after this.  – Christina Haftman

Look at it this way…Anger isn’t going to solve anything so might as well be angry for a minute and get over it and work on resolving what made you angry in the first place! – Neil Thakkar

The only solution to anger is to talk to or about what you are angry about then if its a person forgive them and do something with or for them. That begins the reconciliation and healing process. Also, pray. – Winfred Burns

Learn to be forgiving like Winfred Burns is saying, remaining angry for life will significantly harm your health. God forgives us for the sins we have committed, and will commit, we need to be forgiving the same way, of the person, or situation that causes anger. – Devin Machnik

Read “The Four Agreements”, by Don Miguel Ruiz, it will help.
I’m still learning how to deal with people who have a hard time dealing with their anger. Be patient and don’t take anything personally. -  Nita Figueroa
